The Brief:
Firstly, the client visited our showroom and wanted to look at the possibility of installing a hydrotherapy swim spa for their son to use. They were not sure where is could be located. Or how it would work with the rest of the garden.
So, during our site visit and after running a few measurements we submitted a design which involved excavation of the large bank at the end of the garden, this created the space to build a solution without compromise to other areas of the garden. Next we added building, fire pit, decking, lighting and planting to ensure the design could be enjoyed by the whole family for years to come.
Finally, the budget was established including the use of consumer finance. This enabled the whole design to be delivered during a short period of time with deferred payments at no extra cost. Plus the project was delivered on time without any additional costs.
The Aims:
Transforming an unusable part of the garden to incorporate the design.
One stop shop solution from design, installation through to lighting and planting.
Quality of the overall design from an aesthetic and ergonomic perspective.
Financial structure of the project to deliver on time and within the clients budget.
The Project:
A residential project for a family with three children, one of which needed hydrotherapy. Design and installation took place within a previously unusable 2m high bank of soil and bushes. So we excavated the area removing tonnes of soil off site. Then we built foundations and retaining walls to accommodate a partly sunk Hydropool Swim Spa. After, we then built a blockwork rendered planter at the front incorporating Millboard decking and steps. Next we added a Renson Building over firepit and seating area. Planting and lighting completed the swim spa area. Finally we installed raised artificial grass area for the children to play as previous area was constantly flooding.

The Testimonial:
“Having a north facing garden we had thought of ideas to use the back part of our garden for some time, as it holds the most sun. Seeing the work London Essex Hot Tubs has done we asked them to design an area within the bush covered hill at the back of the garden. We needed a safe environment for our disabled child and a modern wow factor at the same time. From start to finish the planning and works ran very smoothly. We established a great relationship with all the guys which really helped the project run smoothly. Any changes we wanted to make were met with ideas and solutions and we were always kept up to date with what was happening. We couldn’t be more pleased with the finished project and would recommend them to anyone looking to take on a garden project like ours.”
Kind Regards,
Kate Hooper
