Spit roasting may now be added as an eighth cooking option to the EGG’s seven well-known cooking modes.
This year’s Thanksgiving turkey might be the best one yet because of the EGG’s ceramics’ ability to retain heat while allowing you to cook meat and fowl to the crisp-edged, juicy-fleshed perfection. However, it works just as well for spit-roasting whole fish, huge vegetables like cauliflower and squash, or even fruits like pineapples. It can be utilised for direct and indirect cooking.
For Large and XL EGGs, there is just the original Big Green Egg Rotisserie available. It includes a powerful but silent 220V – 240V motor that will reliably and evenly flip food over the flame. The EGG is sealed with a coated steel ring attachment for the best heat and flavour retention.
