These exquisite serving platters are each made from a single, solid piece of environmentally friendly teak with exquisitely bevelled edges and are expertly polished with mineral oil. No two boards will ever be precisely the same due to the unique characteristics of the wood and the artisanal process used in their creation.
The long, beautiful boards can be used to serve everything from freshly made sourdough loaves to sliced steaks and a cheese plate to the table. To spread butter, dips, or oil, or to gather juices and dressings, use the indented area in the centre.
Don’t soak or submerge the cutting board in water. Scrape the cutting board down after each use. To sanitise the board, wipe it with hot water and an antibacterial spray. Cutting board surfaces need to be protected/moisturised with olive or vegetable oil, depending the frequency of use (every 4-8 weeks). This is the key to preserving colour.
