Indoor installations are great for users who aren't fond of swimming in cooler months, but it's difficult to bring a swim spa into your home, so it needs to be installed when you build the room that will contain it. Alternatively we can design and build a structure to house your swim spa in the garden, other facilities can be added such as a changing, shower and gym area. When determining your installation type, it can be extremely helpful to discuss your ideas with a knowledgeable retailer.


Choice 3 – Water Sanitation

A swim spa is comparable to a swimming treadmill. That means the water must be treated differently than in a Swim Spa or swimming pool. First, you'll need to choose from mineral, bromine or chlorine. If you choose bromine or chlorine, make sure to get an in-line dispenser that allows for easy dispersal of chemicals. You also have the option to add an Ozonator to oxidize bacteria and reduce the amount of chemicals you need.


Choice 4 – Exercise

There are many exercise options you can add to your swim spa to create the ultimate workout. From rowing machines, aqua cycles through to step exercise, a low impact option that is easy on your joints. These exercises can help you control body weight, relieve depression, and help you sleep better. Finally, tethered aquatic jogging and training is recognized as one of the best cross-training exercises you can perform. It provides relief from running on hard surfaces and builds lean muscle, strengthens your heart, improves your posture, and reduces the possibility of injury. It's a great cross training option, especially during post-marathon recovery or if you suffer from shin splints, tendonitis, knee, or lower leg problems.
