The round barrel design facilitates efficient air circulation, resulting in a notably shorter heating time compared to rectangular saunas—a significant advantage. The sauna door features a solid cedar door frame with a full glass bronze-tempered window, while marine-grade aluminium bands are secured with stainless steel tightening hardware.
Wood Type:
Western Red Cedar stands as an excellent choice for saunas, sought after for its durability, resistance to decay, and dimensional stability, attributed to its porous cell structure. Its lightweight nature makes it the premier insulator among all cedars. Specifically, Clear Western Red Cedar wood, free from knots, distinguishes itself from Knotty Western Red Cedar planks which feature characteristic knots.
Heaters:
You can go for an electric heater or a wood-heated sauna heater.
